The team at The Gothic Times needed a Sports Writer during the summer of 2020. Our Editor in Chief reached out to me regarding a possible flyer assignment. So, I designed this flyer to be distributed individually & to be included in the paper. I primarily used the angled & dynamic pose of the athlete as a means to guide the viewer’s attention through different parts of the design. Furthermore, I desaturated the image so that it recedes to the background & does not compete with the rest of the graphic. Doing so also introduced a level of depth to the design.
