POPPY

Poppy was designed for Curiocity, an edutainment game where she guided & assisted the players through their journey. The design also appealed to our target audience, which is kids between the ages of 5 & 11; & their parents too. As opposed to the flat vector characters I’ve designed in the past, Poppy was expressive & had depth. I added a question mark-shaped hair strand as an additional expressive element that reacted & changed according to her emotions. Her attire was inspired by how kids often dress up when they use their imagination to pretend play.
