SPLIT/TORN TROUSER GUIDE

What if I created a how-to guide explaining how we can patch up a torn trouser using duct tape? That’s what came to my mind when I began making this instructional poster for my Information Design class. I emphasized clarity & simplified the forms to basic outlines & solid color fills. Humor had to remain dominant throughout the design, so I used silly explanations to carry the narrative. Consistency was portrayed using linework of similar weights. Furthermore, I made use of rectangles to group elements together & introduced depth into the composition.
